UPDATE - October 25, 2011 - I would like to thank all of you who read my post and gone to Adlai's pages...this isn't just for one kitty, /cat but for ALL animals - bunnies, puppies/dogs, etc...we are the conservators of their lives and need to be cognizant of this fact. Our movement is growing and I am humbled by the response on this page. If you know anyone who is a position to get this moved further along, please share this with them.

It all started with a little kitten named Adlai Grace who was severely injured by persons unknown in Michigan. She and her siblings were placed in a box and thrown out of a moving car against a tree in the nearby wooded area. A kind soul found them, buried the five dead kittens and rescued the two living ones. Adlai Grace has become a bit of a superstar on Facebook. She was loved by so many. Her sibling is still thriving, but little A-G passed away on October 12, 2011 at 2 months due to her injuries.
Since that time, our little group has made a vow to little Adlai Grace to try to strengthen the punishments meted out to persons abusing animals - any animals. It would be so helpful if we could get more people to join our little group to pass the word around to help change the "slap on the wrist" laws in place around the world.
