India's First Wiccan Newsletter

It has been a while in the works and there has been alot of debate on whether to go ahead with this project or not.
the time has come and we are ready for change.
This year, Beltane will see the launch of India's first Wiccan Newsletter. Calliope's quill is one of the first of many changes yet to come. Having waited for this chage, I realised that nothing was going to really happen unless someone did something about it. and since we all were waiting for the next person to do it, I've decided not to just sit around doing nothing any longer.
The issue is in print and will be sent to out to everyone interested. (if you are send in your postal addresses to calliopesquill@gmail.com) Also if you feel the need to be heard, send in articles, poetry questions and essays, I am sure that we can find a place to put it up in our forthcoming issues.
While on this journey, I have encountered many fakes and misguided people. Our world has heard of Wicca through one famous face, and as much as she has done, I still feel that there is so much more to do.
There are different ways of coming out into society as being wiccan, for right now coming out to my family, friends and peers is enough. Now I fulfill my calling to bring this path rightly to those who have heard their calling and need a little help.
And just as she has walked with me throughout each lifetime and walks beside me in this one, I commit to walk beside you'll.
To nuture and build our community and though most of us are solitary, support each other, this is my purpose.
For right now, I do not seek monetary gain, but as our community grows and there are more people who choose to recieve the issue of Calliope's Quill, I might have to ask for support if needed. For right now, the issue is free of all costs.
I pray that with the help of the Goddess and of Wiccans around India and the world, we are protected and sucessful in what we are set out to do.
I would like to thank Wren and Witchvox, for helping me contact witches and wiccans around my country and forming a network, miniature though it may be, it is comforting to know that there are others like me.
May the Goddess continue smiling on you.
