Discrimination against Witches in the UK

"A Children of Artemis volunteer phoned the Carshalton Environment Fair to enquire about a stall. They were very helpful until the word Witchcraft was mentioned. The conversation changed dramatically, with the fair organiser saying they didn't allow Witches to have stalls at their event. One of the CoA media team then phoned the organisation that runs the event to ensure this was official policy. The person who answered the phone at the Centre for Environmental Initiatives (CEI) confirmed Witches would not be welcome at the Fair, however all other religious groups were welcome"
The above quote pretty much says it all. Since the CEF gets government money to operate they are in breach of a number of local laws - and about to get fried big time if my knowlege of English case law is anything to go by.
However, I am also writing to several of the bodies mentioned on the website in my official capacity as Pagan Chaplain for Kingston Prison. I also feel it would be an eye-opener for the organisations involved if they had some input from Pagans, and Pagan groups, worldwide to show how large this 'minority' religion actually is.
