I live in Colorado, and in 2006 local church groups protested a Samhain ritual that took place in a Lions Club building. They asked the Lions Club to not allow the group to meet and worship. The controversy was enough to reach the local paper, and got some news attention.
I wanted some feedback on an idea I have been thinking since I read about this in the paper. I want to make a non-profit temple where local pagans can worship as they see fit. A place free of contention, ridicule, and prejudice. I have already registering as an ordained minister, and am looking into what it takes to make a 501c3 worship center.
If anyone has advice or input, it would be greatly appreciated.
