A Witch Alone

Greeting Witches of Lee County Florida,
I go by Tigerseye in our social circles and have been a practicing witch for fifteen years or so. Wicca is a big part of my life and there used to be plenty of places for people like us to gather and meet, have pagan book discussions or to just simply not feel alone. Sadly, places like that are disappearing and I don’t know if anyone else out there feels like I do but it’s getting to me a little.
There was a place that I went. It was a store and coffee shop, but it was more than that. It was a community. Not only could I go in there and buy supplies, books or even order what I needed for rituals, spells and whatnot but we would also get together and celebrate Sabbats. That even had weekly workshops. Every Sunday we would gather and one of the local elder Wicca or even just a friend who came for the atmosphere would teach, free of charge most of the time some great thing they did. From some form of divination to even a “whipping” class, where a local whip maker taught us how to use various whips. My eldest son had a great time with that one.
First the classes stopped, then no one even got together on Sundays. Now the Sabbat rituals has almost completely stopped. People are still going but it feels to be to have lost its luster. The local pagan community that I am familiar with just seems to go out of habbit.
I’m not trying to form a Coven. I just want to have communication with other Wiccans. If you feel the same and are ready to meet other like minded Pagans I say, what’s stopping us? I’m reaching out with witchvox in hopes of finding the active. The best way to learn is to teach. Let’s start learning together. I’m opening communication to the Craft community. Contact me if this reaches anyone who’s tired of not knowing enough other witches.
