“Sky, Earth, Sea: A Journal of Practical Spirituality” (SES) is a place where individuals on Earth-centered paths can share a wide array of interests, experience, expertise, and knowledge. Our primary focus is on Druidry, but those on any Earth-centered path will find something of value here. We gather together the treasures of individual Druids at work, creating a growing record of modern Druidry that deepens and broadens the modern path of various traditions. Additionally, SES is organized as a teaching tool, a rich source of information and inspiration valuable to both new and long-practicing Druids. Whatever shape your path takes today, may you find something here enriches, challenges, and deepens your own practice.
To begin our meeting on this new path, we are pleased to offer a complementary issue of “Sky, Earth, Sea: A Journal of Practical Spirituality.”
Articles, poetry, artwork, and rituals in this journal honor the blending of the three ancient Druid elements: the inspiring Sky, the solid Earth, and the mutable Sea. In this issue:
-a labyrinth ritual, including instructions for building your own temporary or permanent seven circuit labyrinth
-an introduction to the Aiki-Jitsu Ki system of energy healing
-incense recipes to try at home
-analysis of an ancient description of a mistletoe-gathering ritual and its relevance to modern ritual
-a personal reflection on the aspects of zen present in nature
-poetry
-reviews of Brenden Myers' "The Other Side of Virtue", Emma Restall Orr's "Living With Honour: A Pagan Ethics", and John Lamb Lash's "Not In His Image".

Through this site, we will continue to meet, not just during the four solar holidays, but any day that you seek to connect with the Druid community.
