Athens Pagan Pride Call for Participants

Athens Pagan Pride Day 2010 is seeking persons interested in participating in two of the day's events. We encourage participation from all varieties of Paganism. If you would like to participate or wish to learn more, please email athenspaganpride@gmail.com. The events, with brief summary, are listed below. If you have already expressed interest in either event, we definitely want your assistance. If we do not contact you within a couple days, please write us.
Public Ritual: Around mid-day, there will be a public ritual. We have not yet set a form or format except that all APPD attendees be able to participate. We welcome input from all interested community members to assist in planning, leading or providing content. Content from all faiths is welcome, but from those faiths that recognize the harvest we encourage the content to be harvest-themed.
Ye Old Thyme Revival: The idea behind this event is to give members of different faiths the opportunity to present their religious beliefs and practices to the community in a humorous and informative manner. They should prepare short (5-10 minute) "sermons, " roughly in the style of an American Evangelical preacher, regarding some aspect of their religion. Please be respectful of all religions (including American Evangelicals!) , and definitely please have fun!
