Lance and Graal is the podcast that has brought you the thoughts and voices of Starhawk, Amber K., Kerr Cuhulain, Darla Wynne, Isaac Bonewits, Peg Aloi, CrystalCherry and many other important thinkers, writers, and musical artists in contemporary Paganism. We're finishing off 2005 with some of our best programming yet.
For those of you who don't know what podcasting is, it's the newest incarnation of internet radio. Jeva, Daphnea co-host the program, and Brother Runekafi pitches in when we're in a pinch!
Our Yule show on December 16 will feature Mary Ann Augustino, newly elected president of the Pagan Alliance of Nurses, and Patricia Telesco. Drawing inspiration from Officers of Avalon and Avalon Cares, this network brings Pagans in the healthcare and nursing professions together.
Trish Telesco, author of The Kitchen Witch's Cookbook and Candlelit Recipes for Magick (and a plethora of other books) , discusses the magick of food and cooking. She'll explain why vegans don't have to starve, why eating Twinkies won't land you in purgatory – even if Pagans believed in it – and why angry cooking makes for ill dinner guests. Daph and I had waaaaay too much fun talking to her.
Our December 22 show will be a special Yule present for you pagans in the Podosphere, as we'll play “The Music of Lance and Graal, ” featuring and promoting those artists whose tracks we've played during 2005. Vote for your favorite musical artist, and we'll send an engraved trophy to the winner.
Donald Michael Kraig, author of Modern Magic and Modern Sex Magic, will help us close the year by discussing magick, evocation, Paganism and tantra. He will also talk about his new book, Tarot and Magic.
2006 promises to be even better. We have some awesome interviews line up for January.
