Pan Pagan Festival turned 30 this year. During this time it has seen many changes occurring in the Pagan Community.
30 years ago, the Pan Pagan Festival (Pan) was one of only a few pagan festivals across the United States and there were pagans attending the fest from all over the world. As times have changed, local fests have sprung-up; the cost of traveling and attending fests has gone up. Now the majority of pagans coming to Pan are from the local tri-state area. Through the years, we have strived to keep the rates reasonable allowing both families and covens to attend.
Many of us who are running Pan Pagan Festival would like to see Pan continue for a long, long time. In order to do that, we need the younger generation to become more involved in its operations.
I am asking those who have attended Pan, especially those of you who are between 18 and 27 if you are interested in working with the organizers of Pan to keep the festival going.
