Ancestral Drum And Dance Festival

We are still interested in staff, presenters, performers and volunteers both for this year and 2012!
Come, Join us August 5th, 6th, & 7th (or 4th-8th if you opt to come early & stay late!) for a weekend filled with drumming, dancing, fire spinning, workshops and much much more!
A few workshops include: HandsOn Tie-Dye Extravaganza, Meditative and Trance Dance, ATS Bellydance, Natural Soapcraft, Paranormal Investigation, Tsalagi 101, Alchemy, Voodoo Drum Rhythms, Native American Healing and Herbal Basics, and Nature Walk/Medicine Bag creation.
A few Performers include SEDE, Tree of Life World Music, Safiya Nawaar, and Zingara Dance Troupe!
Ancestral Potluck Feast, Memorial Service for 'Festus', and Raffle also to be held!
Longest yard sale also going on nearby. $20 for the whole weekend with camping and vending included. Day passes also available.
We are pleased to announce our 2011 Festival Sponsored Charities this year are Wolf Run Wildlife Sanctuary and Owen County Friends of Animals!!! A portion of festival proceeds will be donated between the two, and donation cans will be available for each. Additional donation cans will be present for other community projects as well; such as the Pagan Pantry, Musicians Food/Fuel Fund, On-Site Cemetery Maintenance, and Port-a-john maintenance.
