What a wonderful TOUR! The Museum was shown in Georgia, Kansas and Tennessee! There were folks of every trad, seeking out the treasures of this inventory, irrespective of age, sex, sexuality, color or creed. We were honored and thrilled to see the reactions of those who came to see the tour. There were old friends of Ray's, ours, and tons of young new seekers, learning about their history and of the hero/ines, who lost their lives, freedom and prosperity, in keeping traditions of Nature, Magick and Spirit alive, for those who 'will come later'.
They laughed a lot, cried a ton, and were silent, and awed by many of the exhibits. We have been contacted by brave honest folks, now realizing they have held artifact pieces, given to them, like gumball rings, when the Museum was in careless, disreputable hands. We will be accepting the stolen pieces into our hands, as others make the same honest choice...that of returning to Raymond and all of us, those treasures that belong to perpetuity, and to future generations of Seekers, as we once were.We SIGNED the TRUST paperwork a few days ago, and the Museum now belongs to itself, and every Conjurer who is, was or will be. It can never again be stolen, hidden or pandered like cheap seat tickets at a Saint's game.
Use of the Artifacts is being considered, as a teaching tool for Law Enforcement and First Responders, across the Nation.
And University interest and support grows daily, from across the USA.
We are sending our grant request shortly.
Our requests to other trads, cultures, countries, tribes, etc are being honored, as we work to enrich and expand the scope of the inventory.
I just received Ritual Garb and an Athame, from the estate of SYBIL LEEK! I cried over it, like a jackass..lol. It was she who inspired a group of adolescent girls, to face down our demons of molestation...our common darkness and find the power of being female, and of a Deity with whom we could relate. Hence, the tears. And thus, the Crescent Circle Swampwitches of the 1970s was born and then in the 1990's, became CPWC!
We are receiving a unique Ouija board, from our friend Duane of the Heartland group and circles.
More of such gifts are being offered, sought and the restoration, cleaning etc. of the recovered pieces goes on.
If you would like to be a part of this adventure, of hard work, assets spent, and seemingly breathless awe, at being 'here' to care for it, give us a shout.
For those who still hold 'stolen' pieces....nay...ANY PIECE of the Buckland Inventory, please know that it is STOLEN PROPERTY, and if you are a person who honors your family, trad and the God/dess, kindly RETURN IT TO US.
NO QUESTIONS ASKED. JUST SEND US AN EMAIL OR CALL US, AND WE WILL MEET IN THE 'MIDDLE' and that will be that. If and when we litigate, possession of a piece of the inventory, is a felony and then we will do what we must to get it back.
Blessings to all, Rev. Velvet Rieth APS Curator/Trustee
