Event Promises to Bring Spiritual Healing to the U.S.
Local shamanic practitioner performs soul retrieval for the country as compassionate act
Reisterstown, MD – Reisterstown, Maryland-based, Phoenix Soulutions will lead a nationwide Shamanic Healing ceremony for the United States and its citizens on April 18 at Mystickal Voyage in White Marsh, MD. Inspired by Phoenix Soulutions owner Maya Phoenix’s realization that the underpinnings of our present national crisis cannot be addressed solely with bailouts and stimulus packages. Phoenix notes that while these measures are timely, they are bandages on a festering wound.
According to Phoenix, the current economic climate, international conflicts and internal strife are all indicative of symptoms of a deeper spiritual illness – soul loss. From tortured prisoners to the erosion of political rights, from financial losses, marginal lending practices and goods and services that have failed to meet their promises – this negative energy is pervasive and we are now paying the price for it as a nation.
“Our country is spiritually sick, ” says Phoenix, “We have lost our moral compass. If we don’t collectively address the spiritual aspects it will be difficult to make any lasting changes or improvements.”
Phoenix stated that before soul loss can be remedied, the negative energy intrusions must be removed by ceremony. Negative energy intrusions are a result of traumatic events, such as war, genocide, greed, prejudice, terrorism and politically motivated killings which traumatize the country’s spirit. Once the negative has been removed, Shamanic belief is that the ‘lost’ pieces of soul or energy can be returned through a ceremony called Soul Retrieval.
“People are longing for spiritual connection and are keenly aware of our county’s spiritual bankruptcy, ” says Phoenix “You won’t read that in a newspaper, but talk to a neighbor or co-worker and you’re likely to find that everyone is seeking a brighter, more profound spirituality at this time.”
