Battle Song, by Pisces Projekt has been nominated for best song in the New Age/World category of the Just Plain folks annual music awards, to be held at the Galaxy theatre in Santa Ana, CA on November 7.
Just Plain Folks (www.justplainfolks.org) is an organization of over 25, 000 songwriters, recording artists and various music industry professionals. Over 140, 000 songs and 10, 000 albums in 58 genres from 85 Countries were judged this year before finalists were chosen, making the Just Plain Folks Music Awards the largest awards program in the world!
Battle Song is one selection from Pisces Projekt's recently-released album, OPERA, under Unicorn 1 Records (www.unicorn1records.com) . About OPERA (from the website) :
In this, their debut album, Pisces Projekt combines classical composition and new-age rhythms along with inspired lyrics exquisitely rendered by Zakhuur and Sinari's stunning voices. Every song on this album is awesome; a magestic experience. Full of sweeping cinematic orchestration topped by soaring vocals, it's easy to envision armor-clad angels wielding luminous swords into a defining metaphysical battle, or elegantly dressed couples twirling around an ethereal ballroom.
