Are you looking for someone reliable, talented and professional to edit your Web site, newsletter or publication? How about someone organized, deadline-driven and great with words to provide written material for your company?
I am a writer, editor and content producer with more than a decade of combined writing, editing and project coordination experience for print as well as Web publications, and I am looking for an opportunity to use my skills and experience to their fullest potential.
My writing/editing career includes a corporate magazine, newsletters, newspaper articles, advertising copy, a book, press kits, artist bios, manuals and Web sites. It is also punctuated with experience on staff at two of Detroit’s major newspapers as well as with time working as a writer and editor for two online publications. I also have experience in marketing and public relations, and am comfortable and effective working solo or as part of a team.
I have an interest in health, animals, alternative medicine, retail, current events and social issues, dreaming big, entrepreneurship, out-of-the-box thinkers, telecommuting, and a somewhat flexible schedule.
I am looking for: a positive, creative, efficient, clean and healthy and productive environment. I am also in search of a place where you respect my skills and experience, and I respect your needs and expectations while having your full support in getting the job done. Full-time OK, office environment OK, public setting OK, telecommuting OK, some travel OK, some freelance OK. No inter-office drama or unethical behavior, please, but a sense of humor is always welcome.
