What would you get out of this?
This is a great opportunity to start building clips, an all-important building tool for people with ambitions towards professional writing and reporting.
Also, you will learn about writing in Associated Press Style, develop hands-on experience in balancing between the Pagan community and the 4th estate (that’s journalism) and it gives you a great excuse to go talk to people you might have felt too shy to before.
What do you need to do?
For national reporters: 1-2 stories of national or international interest per month, with roughly 500 words per article. For local bureau reporters, the ideal number of articles filed is determined by the bureau.
You do NOT need to have a journalism or mass communications degree to join the collective, just be willing to learn.
