Hello,
I am writing a formal research paper studying ancestral (Scots-Irish, Native American) , recent past (1800-1900s) , and contemporary Paganism in the Ozarks. I hope for this paper to be peer reviewed and stand as a excellent study of Paganism in its own right.
I am looking for information regarding Ozarks specific traditions, rituals, and folk magic. For contemporary and present day, I would like to correspond with some Ozarks born/raised Pagan folks. This is people born/raised in this area who were always Pagan or became Pagan at some point in their lives. Anyone else who has anything to say about the subject is also welcome to contact me. All correspondents will remain anonymous for this research paper. Please reply to this post if you are interested.
Some of my sources already include the works of Randolf Vance "Ozark Magic and Folklore" and "Ozark Superstitions." Highly recommended books!
