Mona Crook Dease, 95, a resident of Knotty Ash, Liverpool, England died peacefully of natural causes at Whiston Hospital, Lancashire, England on January 16th 2004.
The daughter of Mary Alice Mather Osborne and James Henry Crook of Liverpool, Mrs. Dease was a classically trained pianist as well as an entrepreneur. A world traveller who visited the United States annually for twenty five years, her love for Anne Arundel County knew no boundaries. Her interests included Metaphysics, Gnosticism, Comparative Religion, Designing and making Clothes, Gardening, Performing Arts and the Stock Market. She loved the theatre along with playing Blues and Ragtime. She served her country in World War II as an ATS Civil Defence Nurse. She was the wife of the late Peter Dease, Master Tailor of Bootle and Kirkdale, Lancashire, England.
She is survived by her son, Peter, his wife Linda, their children Pamela and Neil, Liz and Gt.Grandaughter Sophie in Lancashire, England and daughter Marilyn (Mandy) Johnson, her husband Pete, Grandchildren, Adrienne, Robert, Ian, Amanda, Eric and Bryan and Gt.Grandson Adam, Marvin Johnson and Family, as well as Carle and Carole Johnson of Richmond, Virginia.
Mrs. Dease's funeral will be a private ceremony in Lancashire, England and a memorial celebration of her life will be held in the Spring in her favourite place, Cape St. Claire. In lieu of flowers please donate to any musical or education based charity of choice.
