Pagan Aid Alliance Website Now Up!

With the economy in its current condition, and many people out of a job, many of us have seen Pagans of all ages in troubling financial need. A few months ago I proposed a solution on Witchvox.com in the form of unity in the Pagan community, and had a startling number of responses to my article. I followed the article with another post called "Pagan Crisis Fund." This article was my announcement of intentions to begin a yahoo group called ÒPaganCrisisFundÓ that would strive to become a non-profit organization that would provide financial and emotional support for the Pagan community.
Now a month after I posted and started this process, I have a group of over 50 supporters from across the country who are assisting in this cause. However, we are hoping to bring even more community awareness to our cause, and hopefully find more people to work with us. We have set up a website www.PaganAidAlliance.org that is a resource to exploring our goals as a group, local and national pagan assistance groups and self-help organizations as well as our connection to various causes and donation/volunteer opportunities. Simply stated, our goal is to create an alliance of Pagan businesses, aid organizations, and volunteers to unify the Pagan community and provide aid to Pagans in need across the US and eventually elsewhere.
We are currently working on sending out a newsletter with useful money-saving articles as well as other interesting topics. In addition, we are also putting together a Pagan cook book that we will sell to help raise money for our cause, so look for future updates as these projects are brought to you. If you are interested in receiving the newsletter or the cookbook for your pagan business, or would like to work out an advertising/donation agreement with us, please visit our website and contact our group.
We are still looking for Pagans who want to see change in their community: to assist in keeping our Pagan supply stores open, to support Pagans who are in distress, and to help the Pagan community thrive.
