The RPM Challenge has announced it's second annual challenge, and there are only 4 days left to sign on. The challenge is simple:
Record an album in 28 days. Original material: 10 songs or 35 minutes, wichever comes first.
That's it. It's not a contest, not a fundraiser, not a commercial venture- Just a spur to get all of the creative folks out there to actually do something rather than just talk about why they aren't doing it.
Songs can be done in the studio, on a 4-track, on a radio shack cassette recorder. It doesn't matter. Chances are you won't turn out the next Abbey Road, but you will turn out SOMETHING, and maybe it will inspire you to bigger and better things.
