Protective energy for Hurricane Irene

As the East Coast gears up for Hurricane Irene, we prepare for land fall by stocking up on supplies, boarding windows, and unplugging appliances.
What magickal preparations are you making? Lets all of us send out protective energy for our homes, cars, and loved ones! Light a candle, use reiki, cast a spell, or say a prayer! Use whatever magickal system or means you prefer and lets innundate the state with protection energy and healing energy for this weekend!
If the weather reports are correct, much damage will be done and the potential for injury is great. Let's head off such things as much as possible with our magick!
If you are able at any point this weekend, send out your protection and healing energies to the state! The more of us that participate, the safer we will be!
