Proclamation...
We have dear friends and community in the fire zone of Oz (Au) . Thankfully those I've contacted are still ok - but nearly everything nearby has been destroyed.
We would like to host a fund raiser - on ebay or any social networking site.
Or, we'd like to encourage other people to do likewise and find an organization who will get the money to those in need. Brush fires are incredibly damaging -- not just to humans but all the wildlife that AU is trying to protect. With the death toll going over 200 (including missing people) , these folks are going to need a little help.
I am happy to put together an auction, and have the contacts we have in Oz use the money where they know it can be helpful. Or, as I said.. if any of you want to do something personally so you can direct the funds that's very cool too.
Its half a world away --- but we all know the world is growing smaller, and I know these people would honor your efforts.
Let me know... I will do whatever it takes to reach around the world with hope. Please email trish@loresinger.com if you are planning an event (tell us where the money is going) or if you'd like to contribute to the auction. I will post the results here.
