Spells for new Spellcrafting book

Do you have a favorite spell that is especially effective?
I am in the process of writing a book on how Wiccans can craft their own spells. Since Wicca is a global tradition, I would like to include spells from others in the Wiccan community.
I'm interested in hearing about spells (one, or more than one) that you use to accomplish specific goals. Obviously, a spell has to be effective, but in crafting a spell we often have to go through iterations until we get it right. I'm interested in hearing those details as well.
Feel free also to send me comments or observations about what has worked for you, and what has not worked. That information is as valuable as providing a spell that someone has to follow, word for word. In fact, the point of the book is that anyone can create a spell, and memorized spells are often much less effective than one that is more meaningful to the person casting it.
I will credit any contribution that is used in the book with your name (real name or craft name) and location, unless you tell me to do otherwise.

Before sending your contribution, please run it through a spell-checking program and make sure it is virus-free. My e-mail provider where I download the Yahoo e-mails runs an automatic virus check and automatically deletes any file with a virus, so if your e-mail is infected, I'll never see it.
Also, please use a typestyle that is easy to read, like Times Roman or whatever your default serif font is on your computer, and that the font size is between 10 and 12 points.
There is no need to format text; if I am able to include your contribution, any formatting already applied has to be deleted before it can be pulled into the final book.
Contributors whose spells are included in the book will receive a free copy as soon as it is published!
