Dark Knight CAT Adopt-A-Thon

The Cat Adoption Team (C.A.T.) a non-profit, No Kill shelter, will be sponsoring a special adoption event at the Sherwood Shelter next Friday August 1, 2008. In conjunction with the release of the popular movie "THE DARK KNIGHT", we thought that we would do a fun adoption event around the theme. Here are the details:
The adoption event will run from 7PM until 1AM - that's right - in the DARK OF NIGHT.
We will be offering adoption discounts on cats and kittens that are DARK in color (black, black & white, and tortie) .
We will be playing Batman movies and some of the old Batman TV shows on the projection screen in the lobby.
Regal Cinemas has donated a number of movie passes to see "The Dark Knight" to CAT for this event so we will be having drawings throughout the night to raffle these off as prizes.
Popcorn will be provided to snack on - for adopters and volunteers.
This is going to be a FUN event and we hope to find homes for a lot of our DARK colored cats and kittens as they are the majority right now.
