Proclamation...
I want to thank everyone for your prayers and candles for my friend. I posted on Oct 29th about our ill fated Samhain trip.
I just returned from the hospital to visit him. In some ways he is better, in some worse. But, the ways in which he is worse are ways which will heal the fastest. They found more broken bones (ribs, and vertabrae) , but with him sedated, he will heal from this much faster.
He has not responded to anyone for 2 days. When Scott, myself, and other friends visited today, he responded to three of us. He is in the same band as Scott and Bill (the friend) . So we teased him about having 10 mins to wake up before a gig--time enough for a couple beers and some hot wings--he responded. His heart rate and resps increased slightly and he started to move his legs as if he were running to get onstage. So, he hears us and responded to us--a good thing.
Keep the prayers coming, they are working!
