Reiki is a method of harnessing the Universal Life Force that exists in the world around us and all living creatures, and using this energy to heal ourselves and others. Reiki restores harmony to negatively impacted areas of the body by flowing through these areas in the energy field and charging them with positive energy to restore harmony. We are all born with this natural ability to heal, and Reiki is a wonderful method of learning to utilize this natural ability.
Animals are more "tuned in" to the energetic realm than humans generally are. Their physical bodies were designed help them to be acutely aware of their environment and all beings within the environment. Animals are also highly tuned into our physical presence and attitudes. Our behavior, physical movement, and posture during treatment can affect their willingness to accept the energy.
This class will show you how to "tune in" to your pet so that you both may share in a wonderful Reiki experience.
Class information:
When: Sunday, June 17, 2012 from 2PM - 5PM
Where: Natchez Trace Veterinary Clinic, Nashville TN
Cost: $30.00
Instructor: The class will be taught by Reiki Master, Becki Baumgartner. Becki will be assisted by Reiki II practitioner, Joyce Dierschke.
Cost of the class: $30 (10% of the proceeds will be donated to the Nashville Humane Society)

Students will receive:
Information on the Animal Chakra System
Instruction on Reiki specific to Animals
Reiki Level I Attunement
Handouts and information on Reiki in general and Reiki for humans
Students should bring:
Stuffed animal (of similar size to your actual pet)
Bottled water
Snacks
Something comfortable to sit on like a Yoga mat, padded seat (during Reiki practice we will be seated on the floor)
Class duration: Approximately 3 hours.
Registration is limited to 10 people.
