Aleister Crowley's Rites of Eleusis, reimagined!
It has been two years since the release of our rock opera adaptation of Aleister Crowley's The Rite of Luna 2CD sound track, and over a year since the release of The Rite of Luna DVD.
After countless hours of work and the involvement of scores of talented musicians we have completed and released Aleister Crowley's The Rite of Venus as a 2CD sound track, in preparation for our Summer 2007 theatrical productions in Portland and Seattle.
The Rite of Venus is a dark and sensual story of love and lust, betrayal and loss. The soundtrack has been composed to capture and enhance the poetic verse of Crowley, Swinburne and Shelley. The traditional belly dance rhythms are incorporated to accentuate the mood of the music and the dance of the live performance.
