Proclamation...

Greetings, just a recap of some events and some new information.

We will have our Forest Moon booth at Seattle Pagan Pride this Sunday Sept 13, again in Olympia Sept 20, and in Portland, Oregon Oct 3. We will be taking donations for Troops at those times. Also, there are normal drop points at Mystic Wonder in Lakewood, and Crescent Moon Gifts in Tacoma. We also have a Troop Packaging day Nov 14 where we will get together at Mystic Wonder 5505 Steilacoom Blvd. Lakewood WA 98499 and spend a day going over wish-lists etc and putting packages together for troops as they request for Yule. More may follow with this.

n Our Forest Moon Tribe is going well, the kids will begin making Yule cards to add to the packages and are excited learning new things each week. I’ve been picking up used fishing poles etc for the kids for fishing trips and field trips etc. Fund raisers will start soon and if anyone has ideas for fund raisers please let me know.

The Prison Ministry: There are 15 prisons in WA State with approx 1300 Pagan inmates. The prison in Monroe I know is covered by some people but if anyone in the Tacoma area wishes to handle Mcneil Island they also need help. This is just WA but every state is in the same boat. Whether they are criminals are not, some of them are Pagan and need our help as a Pagan Community to allow them to practice their faith. Just a blurb on that. I will be working with this chaplain to see whats needed and where we can help but Pagan volunteers are needed in all prisons.

The website is going great if you haven’t seen it yet its at www.forestmoongrove.org Issy is very good about her updates each month and new writers are always needed as guests or if you wish to be a staff writer contact her at Isabella_starfox@yahoo.com Also, some stores/businesses have shown interest in paying for advertising to help maintain cost and if you wish to advertise we have rates of:

1 month 20$

3 months 50$

6 months 100$

If interested in this get a-hold of Issy.

OK and on top of everything else, we are starting Forest Moon Investigations a paranormal investigative team. Anyone needing help with Spirit problems etc can get ahold of us and we’ll go check it out. It’s new and in talk phases but I’ve always had my emergency kit in the van just for these things and many of us are already knowledgeable in these areas of poltergheists, ghosts and spirits amongst other things so we may as well put it to good use. More to follow on that but if you have an interest in that area let me know.

We also want to start classes directed more towards Clergy work i.e. counselings, bereavement, handfastings and partings etc things along those lines so anyone that has class ideas or outlines let us know and will schedule you in.
