Greetings everyone, Seattle Pagan Pride was awesome and what I saw as a great success. I'm doing a mid-month newsletter as well, as we have new events to add and more information to out out.
Next event now is 19 September Pagan Coffee again at Whidbey Coffee in the Burlington Mall from noon-2.
Forest Moon is sponsoring a Celia concert here in Mount Vernon. It will be at the Mount Vernon Unitarian Church 26 September from 6PM-8PM Tickets are 12$ in advance or 15$ at the door. If your not familiar with Celia you can hear her music at her website www.celiaonline.com Hope to see many of you there.
Now, Oct 2 is the Bellingham Pagan Pride Darrin still needs vendors, workshop teachers, and groups to do rituals and this is coming right around the corner, Oct 2 from noon-6PM at the Bellingham Unitarian Church, I will have a booth there for Forest Moon and will be giving a workshop on Pagans in the Military and how you can support them etc. Should be a fun day. Email me asap if there's anything you can do to help or vend etc. Also, on the note of Pagan Pride if we get the proper permission Mount Vernon will be holding Pagan Pride for 2011 at the Skagit Valley Fairgrounds I will be locking that in soon as well, we will coordinate with Paul and Katt of the Seattle Pagan Pride so there are no conflicts.
Oct 23 is the TERRA Tacoma Witches Ball starting at 6:00 PM at the VFW on Mckinley Ave in Tacoma. Tickets are 25$ Single/35$ Couple in advance and/or 25$ at the door.
Now, Oct 30 is going to be a busy day at Mystic Wonder all day. When the store opens we will have a Pagan Troop support packaging day, getting all the donations we have and putting them in boxes to ship out to our Troops we have on our list. Again, if you are deployed or know of someone deployed thats Pagan get me there address so we can get them added to the support list. Also, if you have stuff to donate to the Troops, if you are North of Seattle bring it to Pagan coffee on the 19th or call and we'll coordinate pick-up, 360-848-8515 for Eric or Ashley, if you live South of Seattle take it to Mystic Wonder 5505 Steilacoom Blvd Lakewood WA 98499 and his store phone is 253-584-4875. Troop support day will go from 11AM-1PM followed by DJ Conway's book signing from 1-3 followed by a potluck and a concert at 4 with Green Fay. There will also be a costume contest and lots of fun in general.
Coffee itinerary will include discussion about the Forest Moon Church building ideas and we are discussing committees. We will be needing committee leaders for the Prison Ministry, Homeless Closet, and we will still have our kids group when we get kids into the group enough to start it up. Also, be discussing Pagan Pride and ideas for future events we will sponsor.
I wrote an article for Pagan Pages which will be out in October and that will be the beginning of our column, anyone with topic ideas they want written about let me know.
I hope this finds everyone doing well, Ashley and Cheyanne are doing great, the pregnancy is going smooth and we will all get to meet her sometime in November, we will be having a baby shower in October date to be announced. Dec 18 is our projected Forest Moon Yule party more will also follow on that as the time approaches. We are getting steady eggs fro the chickens now and the garden is finishing up its crops, the pumpkins are looking great. Blessings.
