Proclamation...

Greetings, and Happy Bunny Day. We had a wonderful easter egg hunt for the neighborhood kids and everyone had lots of fun. We have 4 baby bunnies just now getting their hair and I built the chickens a new run connected to their new house and their getting settled in. It’s also time to start tilling the ground and getting ready to plant the garden as I already have the seeds ready to go and some of the sunflowers are already starting in pots. I’ll be focusing a lot on corn and pumpkins and will be rotating crops of the other vegetables so we have harvest into the later part of the year as well. Earth Day was great, I ordered 48 Blue Spruce trees to also plant on the farm so will have lots of fun planting them as well. I planted a pear tree and several nut trees last year and they are taking off as well, also have 8 blueberry plants and a raspberry plant that will be producing and we already got a first harvest of rhubarb and the asparagus plants are taking off from last year. That’s the newest on the farm.
Cheyanne is growing fast, she loved her easter basket of toys and clothes and it will be fun next year when she can join in on the egg hunt, pictures of her and the farm are always being updated on Ashely and I’s Facebook page.
