Blessed Autumn from Forest Moon HQ, Labor Day is over signaling a change of seasons as Fall approaches. This is my favorite time of year as the earth blesses us with the coloring of the leaves and that nip in the air as the animals prepare for the cold to come. I like to enjoy the time with a cup of hot spiced cider and a doughnut or 3 and contemplating all the changes that have happened over the last few months. Baby Cheyanne has 4 teeth now and is crawling and keeping us on our toes. With that I have started the ground work for a daddy group in our county as there are a lot more stay-at-home dads in the area and there’s so much out there for mommies that many dad’s get left out, or feel left out. This will be a non-religious specific group. A lot is going on in October. The 8th will be our next coffee meeting and our kids group will start up with our initial meeting on Oct 15th at Missy’s house as she is the Tribe coordinator. There will also be a Halloween/Samhain party the 30th with bobbing for apples, history lesson and tarot readings. September 16-18 Forest Moon will be on Lamyka’s Wiccan Podcast at her Witch’s Thanksgiving dinner, you can hear her podcast at http://lamyka.libsyn.com/ you can also buy her Pagan kids coloring book and bedtime stories she just wrote as well. September 25th we will start our first Paranormal group meeting at 7PM again at Missy’s house email for directions if your in our area. The focus with the group will be entities, poltergheist, and ufo sightings. We will conduct investigations at houses, and perform house blessings etc. Sept 18 we will be at the Seattle Pagan Pride, and the 24th the Bellingham Pagan Pride and that wraps up September. Nov 20th is Cheyanne’s first Bday and we will be throwing a huge party for her. I always preach about the homeless as the cold approached and this is no different, we always take donations of blankets, coats, shoes, cold weather clothing and small appliances. We will be having a Troop packaging day for our Troop packages in October, more to follow on that. Nov 5 will be our November coffee, Dec 3 will be December coffee and the 17th will be the Forest Moon Yule party, more will follow on those as well. We have been kicking around the idea for a Holiday Faire this year and are open to suggestions on location and will be looking for vendors for that as well.
