Forest Moon Grove August Update

Proclaimed by: Forest Moon Grove
Proclaimed from: Mount Vernon, Washington

Proclamation...

Greetings friends, well this finds Forest Moon quite active as our first event in over a year is this Saturday August 3. Saturday will be our Lammas Bread and Mead Challenge at 1PM, starting at 10AM we have vendors coming up to sell there wares and they will close at 7PM. There is still room for more vendors it's not too late to get involved, email for an application. We will be selling hamburger plates for 5$ with a burger, drink and chips and then there will be a witchy raffle at 4PM. Overall a fun event for the whole family. We are located in Concrete, WA email for directions. During this event I will be signing kids up with parental consent for our Forest Moon Tribe the Pagan kids group and will be looking for new members for the Forest Moon Paranormal group.

We are also planning a Yule Ball for December in Seattle, WA it will be a formal dinner and dance, go to our Facebook group or website for more details. Our website has been recently updated and can be found at www.forestmoon.spruz.com

Next year is our big festival Pagan Harvest New Age of the Witch held Sept 6-7 of 2014. We have lots of vendors coming from all over the Country and room for more again, email for an application. Oberon Zell will be attending and giving a workshop, Phaedra Bonewits will be giving a workshop on energy work, and Kisma Stepanich will be giving a workshop on working with the Fey. There will be a Kitchen Witchery workshop given by Bea Manes and a workshop on Past Life Regression by Brenda Maureen Brennan. Green Fay will be performing and we are looking for more musical performers. There will be opening rituals and on day 2 will be a Call to Morrighan for protection of the Troops, also immediately after the ritual will be a Pagan Elder panel discussion on the history of their particular tradition, changes in Paganism from the past 50 years to present, and what they see happening in the next 50 years. Come out next year and join in the fun.

Our Troop support project is booming as today there was a merger with Forest Moon and the Corellian Tradition in a new group called the Pagan Soldier's Department found at https://www.facebook.com/groups/pagansoldiersdepartment/

Currently Forest Moon does sponsor and endorse a group in Kabul, Afghanistan and soon on a Naval Vessel.

Forest Moon now has a paypal set-up if you wish to contribute a tax-free donation our paypal is paganharvest@yahoo.com
