Forest Moon November Update

Proclaimed by: Forest Moon Grove
Proclaimed from: Mount Vernon, Washington

Proclamation...

Forest Moon November Update.
Wow how time flies, it's hard to believe my little girl turns 3 next week and Thanksgiving is coming up right after that, then is Black Friday and the official start of the Holidays. Wow. This has been a busy and productive year, our farm has taken off, Forest Moon has taken off with events, and our Homesteader group is active and all is staying in a good balance. On the Haystack Farm side of things we currently have 2 goats named Chloe and Oso both are Lamancha which are dairy so we'll have milk, butter, and cheese. We have 3 rabbits 1 buck and 2 does which are a New Zealand/California cross which is a meat breed. We have 30 something various chickens so plenty of eggs, 3 ducks, and 4 turkeys. Also a farm dog and 2 good mouser cats. In the future we will expand our goats to include Angora goats for fiber and Nubian for an alternative milk breed, 2 or 3 pigs for bacon and ham, and 2-3 Dexter Livestock which is a milk/meat breed and that will complete our farm. Currently I'm looking over my seed catalogs for next years garden which will be 1/4 acre plus an orchard of various fruit and berry trees and bushes. We are also looking into solar and wind power to get off the grid and save on a power bill. Our kids Antheny and Cheyanne are loving the farm life at the ages of almost 2 and almost 3 they help feed the animals and carry tools for daddy although the tom turkey tends to make Cheyanne a little nervous lol. I can see them in 4-H when they get old enough as Antheny loves looking at cows when we're driving down the road. That is Haystack Farm in a nutshell and we have started a Facebook group for anyone that wants to keep tabs. https://www.facebook.com/groups/227872894038598/

Forest Moon has been actively meeting for our Sabbat gatherings, kids group, and paranormal coffee. We currently have a raffle going for 2 different staffs and a wand, pictures can be seen on our group page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/146047182249413/ Also up for raffle are 3 different Reiki session packages of 3 sessions each, and 3 different Tarot reading packages. Tickets are 5$ a piece or 3 for 10$ tickets can be purchased at paypal paganharvest@yahoo.com just specify what you want the tickets to go to and the drawing will be held at our Yule Celebration December 21st. December 15th is our Yule Ball in Renton, WA. This is a Semi-Formal event and will go from 6PM-10PM complete with a ham dinner and there will be a vegetarian option just identify that you need a vege option on your ticket purchase. We will be enchanted by the sounds of Green Fay from 7-9 for your dancing and listening pleasure. Tickets and more details can be found at our website at http://forestmoonyuleball.bravesites.com/ Our next Forest Moon Tribe event is Nov 30th the kids will learn about meditation and have a practice session then will go home and practice for their homework. December 21st is the next Forest Moon Tribe at 2PM followed by our group Winter Solstice Celebration at 6PM with a potluck. The Tribe will be learning what Winter Solstice is all about and all the signs and symbols of the season. The last event of the year for Forest Moon will be December 31st bringing in the New Year it will be an all day event starting at 2PM bring snacks and we will have Tarot readings for the Wheel of the Year, then a firework count-down by the hour until the New Year comes in. Forest Moon Paranormal is essentially on hiatus until January when I plan our schedule out again, we are always on stand-by for crisis management for those attacked by entities or other paranormal beings however. The Military support program is also closed for the time being until we get some more deployed Pagan Troops so if you know of any Troops that are Pagan and deployed and in need of support let us know. Our group in Kabul, Afghanistan has closed due to our group leader coming home. We have plenty of clothes and supplies in Hestia's Closet just waiting for new homes, we have had some folks come needing baby clothes and items. Pagan Harvest is September 6-7 of 2014 and is still going well with planning, we will start planning meetings around February to start locking in fund-raiser, vendors etc as we do have a 1-acre pasture to fill up for vendors but we already have vendors coming from California, Texas, and Nevada and several guests coming to give work-shops and Green Fay will be here again performing. Day 2 will be exciting when we have our Pagan Elder conference with an assessment of Paganism in the last 50 years vs what they see happening in the next 50. I have also had requests for our paypal for those wanting to donate to assist in our projects and for Pagan Harvest and donations can be given to our paypal at paganharvest@yahoo.com We also have a Pagan Harvest group for updates at https://www.facebook.com/groups/257402721051688/ and our Forest Moon Paranormal group is at https://www.facebook.com/groups/161375190697779/ if you know of anyone having issues. That sums up Forest Moon now lets move on to our Homesteader group which can be found at https://www.facebook.com/groups/371864192899752/ Our Homesteader group is a non-religious focus as the training is survival and homesteading geared. I got asked if we were a Pagan Militia and I laughed and said no, we don't teach you to shoot we teach how to survive and live off the land, that is what we do. In the group site if you go to the files section you will find a very vast library, enjoy. Our next training is Saturday November 16th at 2PM and we will learn about survival medicine or first-aid, it will be class and some hands on and hopefully I can send you away with a small first-aid starter kit. Next is December 8th again at 2PM and we will discuss what an Emergency Action Plan is and you will set one up, the focus with that will also be family and farm but you should leave with a general understanding of how to respond when a disaster strikes. The last training I have scheduled is January 19th and we will have a cold-weather training exercise, we will check every-ones bug-out bags and then head up on the mountain for a cold-weather hike and test our skills using our bug-out bags. That sums up our Homesteader group and training.

Currently I'm setting up our Yule Card list and need addresses of those wanting a Yule card from us. Also, if any of our store owners out there have boxes of Yule cards we are having a hard time finding cards and the good ones we find are 3$ a piece. What happened to the good ole days of buying cards by the box and everything you find is religious based, we want Yule cards lol so if you sell Yule cards in your store by box please let me know. If anyone has any issues out there I can be reached directly by email at medicyne_eagle@yahoo.com and always check it several times a day. Stay warm and enjoy the coming season. We are generally home so if your in Concrete by all means stop on in the coffee is always on. Blessings. Eric, Ashley, Cheyanne, and Antheny.
