I have been working within the Reclaiming tradition in Australia for at least 5 years, individually and through coven work (SheOaks) . In September 2009, groups from the Melbourne Reclaiming, SheOaks and Southern Earth Reclaiming came together to form a cohesive group that inspired the formation of a national Australia Reclaiming Community. We based the foundation of the group on the Reclaiming Principles of Unity. As a collective we are inspired to spread the Reclaiming tradition, with its unique Australian essence, mindful of the land we live in. We are also excited to begin setting up Witch camps although distance has made it difficult to access teachers in the past but we believe that the energy we generate will encourage teachers in the future.
We are very proud to announce the second Australia Reclaiming Community Witch Camp 2012. More information will follow as details are finalised. The new camp is called EarthSong and will be held 1-6 October 2012 in Healesville, Victoria.
My connection to the land is through the study of the stars, known as astrology. This informs my practice and my life. The Reclaiming tradition informs me further through my connection to earth, air, fire, water and spirit.
