Hello to all,
My name is Patty. I call myself Pagim. I’m 31 years old and live in Belgium.
Like many i’m an Earth centered Pagan. My belief system is inspired by Witchcraft, Druidry, Mysticism, Magick, Goddess spirituality and Metaphisics. By celebrating the seasons and the moonphases I show my respect to the Gods and Goddesses. By respecting all that is on earth I show my love for Mother Nature. I like to work with energy, visualisations and I read Tarotcards.
Last year I first took notice of Paganism. I was researching Druidry in which I was very interested. All my life I was attracted to nature and all of its creatures. When I was a little girl I found refuge in the woods when I was scared or angry, I’d rather be around trees and animals then around the other kids. The kids were very cruel and mean. Because I had very red hair (almost orange) and because I had scars in my face because I was bitten by a German Sheppard when I was 6 years old. Every time I went to the woods I felt great. I lost all of the negativity.
A couple of years later I accidently found some miniature Tarot cards for kids and started "testing" them. That was the first time I came in contact with spirituality. Then years later I started feeling what other kids were thinking. Regretfully I never took steps to get better at it....
Many years later I started practicing the Tarot of Druidry with magic of Wicca and they have given me many insights for myself and for other people I have red the cards for. It made me feel so good when those people wrote back to me and said they were stunned by the accurateness of the cards.
A couple of years ago I started to take notice of orbs that appear on the pictures I take. Most people think they are dust of camera errors but if you take the time to research them or talk to them while you take pictures you might change your mind. There are so many different beautiful Orbs. Through the years they have changed, in the beginning they were vague but the stronger I'm getting the clearer they appear. When I get the chance I'll show you some of them.
Last year I have found that I am a High Sensitive Person and that is when everything started changing very rapidly. I started feeling the attraction to the nature again and started seeing and feeling things around me. One day I met the friendly tree that gave me a glare at the creatures that live in her. After that weekend I found my book about old religions again (I bought it years ago, but never wanted to read it) and started reading. Also on the internet I found many interesting facts and after reading and thinking I came to the conclusion that I'm a Pagan, perhaps I used to be one in my previous life because it feels normal to me. And some things like rituals and blessings that are described in texts about Pagans are things I have been doing since my childhood without knowing that that were Pagan ways. I always thought I was a strange girl because all the other kids had normal childhoods. They didn’t talk to the animals, the Trees and other surroundings. Since I have accepted that in me I have felt happier. I catch myself singing and humming when I’m alone. I'm so happy that I have gotten the chance to be myself, being a Pagan! My magic is (for now) mostly based on working with energy.
