Trey Capnerhurst is a known local and national activist for many related issues, including paganism, food justice, and environmentalism. She creates and runs several on-line shops for handmade pagan, organic and healing products.
Living the Green life as much as possible, she currently lives in a 100 year old witch cottage, reducing her carbon footprint by living without cars, buying local and organic, using only secondhand where possible, especially clothes, and handmaking many of the items required in daily life. Having both her babies at home with midwives, her current focus is healing, appropriate technology, sustainabilty, and personal action.
She is currently a high profile witch and Green party candidate who volunteers part of her time in pagan PR, appearing in all forms of media, to promote spirituality, healing and justice. A current project is to create a more comprehensive pagan umbrella non-profit that includes church and nunneries, universities, sustainable lifestyles, and outreach work. (If the Jesuits and other Orders can have it, why can't we?) The Pagan worldview, especially our respect for Natural Ways, has much to offer in the necessary re-organization of our civilization, and an already established Order that has its structure in place can be a flourishing example of a safe haven to practice, learn, and live.
