I live in the Pacific Northwest following a path of bio-regional animism. I practice the arts of folk magic, spiritwork, dreamwalking, and witchcraft in both city and forest. The focus of my magic is in Scoto-Scandinavian folklore, folk religion, and sorcery, and, as I live in the New World, I also incorporate Pacific Northwest ethnobotany and folklore into my practice. The heart of my path is honouring and working with the genius loci, the spirits who live under my feet, whether they be animals, plants, insects, the good folk, or the dead.
I am a self-taught ethnobotanist and folklorist specializing in the medicinal and magico-religious properties of plants indigenous to the Pacific Northwest and Europe and am a spae-wife in the Scoto-Scandinavian tradition practicing the visionary seership of my ancestors. I’m a full-time herbalist, writer, and artist. I am a carver, painter, and illustrator working in the mediums of bone, wood, clay, ink and paint. I write for various books and magazines and my articles, prose, and art have been featured in publications such as The Cauldron, Hex Magazine, Witches & Pagans, and Hoofprints in the Wildwood.
