Hi everyone. I'm Samantha Wu. I'm a Mahayana Buddhist and a Hellenic Wiccan living just north of Toronto in Thornhill. I'm Chinese born Canadian and a freelance photojournalist. I fancy myself as an active and open member of the Toronto Pagan community especially as the appointed hostess of Cerridwen's Mug, a monthly coffee networking social, and as one of the organizers for Toronto Pagan Pride. I'm also a regular at the Building Bridges Pub Moot and the Toronto Pagan Pub Moot.
I work in retail for an organic, plant-based, eco-friendly and socially conscientious company that produces personal care products called Aveda. I'm a regular columnist for Building Bridges newsletter and I'm also a photographer, layout designer and web designer.

I'm a graduate of the journalism program at Humber College. I've written for Canadian Family, Gardening Life, newWitch and The Blessed Bee magazines and have been interviewed for 21C on CTV and the Toronto Star both on the topic of Paganism.
I was raised in a Mahayana Buddhist household, through my own personal research I found Buddhism connected with me as a philosophy and Wicca is a religion that follows a similar philosophy. I trained with a Gardnerian coven for around two years before going my own path. I still consider myself a seeker in search of further guidance (beyond what books in the Occult section at Indigo can teach me) and a teacher. What I know for sure are my love for the Toronto and surrounding communities and my dedication towards them, my devotion to the Greek Gods who have chosen me as their daughter and student, and my appreciation of other Pagan paths that I can learn from.
