Luke Eastwood's Profile...
I was born in Scotland moving to England as a young child and I have been living in Ireland since March 1999. I am divorced and currently single with a daughter (14) who lives part-time with me.
I've been interested in finding an alternative to Catholicism since I was about 15 when my uncle introduced me to Buddhism. I've looked at almost everything going - I was particularly into Indian mysticism for a long time and I first looked at Druidry at about 22 years old after reading an article in a magazine by the chief of the Glastonbury Order of Druids.
I began studying paganism much more seriously from 2000 onwards, taking a basic course in Wicca with Barbara Lee. I decided not to follow that path and instead joined a small grove in Wexford and later the Order of Bards, Ovate and Druids (OBOD) which is an international order. I felt that it is more in line with my attitudes to nature than other religions and it just felt exactly right for me.
I finished the OBOD Druid grade in Jan 2012, I have facilitated a druid grove in Wexford since 2004 and I am also a Reiki Practioner. I am also a member of Druid Clan of Dana and Ord Na Druí both here in Ireland. I work as a gardener and also do a bit of writing (journalism and poetry) and the occasional bit of music.
