Likes: Thinking about how to make the world a better place, daydreaming, debates, reading (fantasy, some SF) , anything related to computers, symphonic metal and other melodic kinds of metal music, Formula 1 racing.
Dislikes: How the world is now, the way people treat the Earth and each other, dishonesty, break-ups for anything but the most extreme reasons, selfishness, literature or music without a deeper meaning.
I didn't list magick or spirituality under "likes", as I saw many do on this site, because they're both interests and spirituality is a part of my life (magick... not really) . Putting them as "likes" seems superficial. No offense to the ones that did this, it's just how I see it.
Whatever you want to know, just ask, I'm an open book.
My username doesn't have a mystical "ring" to it because I don't have a "magickal name" to use and I don't try to express anything with it. It's just the username I have pretty much everywhere online. I'm not hiding, anyone who wants to look for me for any reason can usually find me by looking for this.
I took a keen interest in spirituality from a very young age. Put a lot of effort into researching various religions and putting together bits and pieces that seemed right (and fitting them together with certain theories about the paranormal picked up along the way or even some of my own) in order to find something that I could really believe in.
In my mid-teens I realized I managed to put together something pretty solid, then took another look at it and realized that this belief system I made for myself had some 5 times (rough estimate) more ideas taken from Wicca than from any other religion that I had looked into till then. So I looked into it harder and started trying to practice it. Not sticking to norms too much, but then again Wicca does offer a lot of individual freedom.
A while later I gave up. Why? Frankly, out of stupidity. I got scared because things actually worked.
Fast forward, still highly interested in spirituality but didn't spend too much time on it since then. However I did have a period when I tried other... methods of enlightenment, with varying results. That made me think of Wicca again as the right path, actually ran the idea past the person that was... sort of my mentor then, I guess, but she rejected it flatly.
But then I decided to really start following a Neopagan path because it simply seems right. Wouldn't say that I'm practicing though, or what I'm doing is very "light" anyway. Also wouldn't call whatever my belief system is as Wicca in any way anymore, but just generally Neopagan if a label is needed, because it really has bits and pieces from all sorts of sources, plus plenty of ideas that are just my own, that flesh out a Neopagan skeleton of a belief system.
As recent (happened over five years ago, but it's recent because nothing after that matters anymore) news, my girlfriend of over 3 years broke up with me out of the blue. I love her with all my heart and know there can be no one else... All I can do is hope she'll change her mind and give me another chance... someday. And that I'll make it to that day, though right now I have a lot of trouble finding any reason to keep moving on. That's why I didn't list any "marital status". Too painful to say "single". Plus that I don't consider myself as no longer being with her, just that she's no longer with me, if that makes any sense.
