Dislikes: Bigots and people who think they are more important than they are. People who have been Pagans for 5 minutes, read a few books and call themselves High Priests and Priestesses, and the idiots who believe them!!!!!!!
Bran's Profile...
I am a mature Pagan, and have been practicing since the 60`s when once for a while I was a member of one of Sanders Covens in London.
I have moved on since then spending time working with Pagan and ritual groups in the south east, before finally deciding that I could no longer live away from my beloved Cornwall.
I am very much a working Pagan and like to hold ritual at all parts of the 8 fold year , and yes I still go in very much for the sword and sorcery type of celebration and prefer to work in small groups with people who have practised for years and understand the Ritual.
Old habits die hard and I find the more relaxed everybody does their bit, made up on the spur of the moment type of ritual/Celebration a bit difficult to handle, especially the ones that are all theatre and ego on the part of the main celebrants, with no substance or power involved.
Maybe I should try to be more of a New Age Pagan but why change the habits of a lifetime! (I sometimes think part of the pleasure of being more mature is in being able to stand to one side and say, without guilt, this isn't for me so I wont do it and of course being able to be classed as a miserable git for not joining in and not caring two hoots!!!!!)
