Likes: I love British prehistory, everything about avebury, stonehenge and its surrounding landscape, ancient places, woodwork, woodlands. Traditional witchcraft, pagan religion and all that goes with it. Making proper ritual items that have feeling and soul., I eat, breathe and sh*t pagan religion, its woven into my everyday life and work so deeply!
Dislikes: People who are intollerant of others who have differing views of religion, and the masses of plastic/resin rubbish sold by many pagan websites. I despair at the amount of "fake" pagan items, mass produced in the far east, none of it has soul!
Spirit Of Old's Profile...
I live in the south of England, an ancient area called Wessex. I have many major neolithic
sites and monuments located near to me.
These places are my inspiration for everything i craft..........
Spirit Of Old is all about making and selling 'proper' handcrafted ritual tools, that are made in Britain!
Everything i make is a serious undertaking and is made for ritual use. The majority of items i craft have certain rituals used as part of their creation, something i think is very important.
I craft real ritual tools, pendants, amulets, wands, staves, ogham & rune divination sets and much more.Items are crafted from
special types of wood, dryads, twisty dragons, English oak, mistletoe and many other sacred materials.
All materials used have deep ritual meaning. We strive to be different from the rest, nothing is mass produced, everything is very individual.

All wands and staffs are made with ritual use in mind, the wood we use has to have feeling,
or i wont bother working with it, everything i use has to speak to me on the craft level!!
Spirit Of Old is located in the heart of ancient Wessex, a land dominated by the ancient Britons for thousands of years. We live among the remains of celtic villages,
hillforts & burial mounds, the standing stones of Stonehenge and Avebury - which all have a part to play in influencing the style of our ritual tools.
Our skyline and work area is dominated by a celtic hillfort, St.Catherines Hill. The tools we make draw upon the influences of our Celtic ancestors that lived where we craft our items today.
