Dislikes: Men who fail to treat women with propper deference, badly behaved children, people who have never bought or read a book in their lives or write in text-speak, the beligerant, inconsiderate and unapologetic. American spell-checkers.
Cyclop's Profile...
I am facinated by, and am trying to write about, the history of the evolution of religion from the year dot to present, combined with the history of the evolution of sexual behavour. Wherein the Goddess seems to be the least understood character. I am in need of editorial assistance.
I have an extensive library from which I hope others might benefit. I have an expanding collection of reproduction Goddess figurines from 34, 000 years old to present (but then I also have a collection of moustache cups!)
The books which have most influenced me were probably Mary Renault's "The King Must Die", Robert Graves "The Golden Fleece" and "The White Goddess", but there are many more.
I have had letters published in the magazine of British Mensa Ltd of which I am a member, and pieces in Vox Pagana the quatrerly publication of Mensa's Pagan-Sig.
When I get an idea in my head, I cann't get rid of it until I write it down. I've posted a few bits and pieces in "poetry" (some are actually poems!) and submitted an article which will take them 2 or 3 months to review.
