Merry meet all :) . I'm a student hailing from Southeast England, now in Swansea, studying English and Spanish. I've always been Wiccan since starting on my spiritual path but it's always taken an eclectic hue; I began with a book taught by members of the Black Forest Clan, then veered towards the wonderful work of Starhawk and Reclaiming. Last summer I became involved with the Spanish branch of Reclaiming and attended an unforgettable witchcamp in Gredos in Spain. Beginning to study rune lore last year also introduced me to Norse cosmology and ideology, and while still Wiccan, learning about this path has enriched my practice more than almost any other. Also last year I had dealings with those in the Pagan community to whom I had looked up to as teachers and guides, but tragically turned out to be the type out to control others and make a quick buck, and to go to any lengths to do so. I was used as a pawn in their witch war and left with nothing. There are people like this who claim to be children of the Goddess folks, but I suppose first hand experience with them is all part of the learning process. Now in Swansea, I'm actively involved with the local moot, a far more pleasant bunch than those I had left behind, the Welsh Goddess Temple in nearby Ammanford and the wider Pagan community.
