I first became Pagan way back in the late 1970's, so am now approaching 'elderhood'. Was variously initiated into Wiccan groups but found those ways less than satisfactory for me.
In 1980 I founded Pagans Against Nukes, publishing The Pipes of PAN. One of our slogans was 'Green The Earth Anew'. PAN was one of the first groups in the UK bringing 'Ecopaganism' to the fore rather than private occult practice.
I have little or no interest in what I might characterise as 'intellectual occultism'. I do seek guidance from the Spirits through Shamanic practice.
In 1981 I joined the Fellowship of Isis. I have always found this group to be supportive and inspiring. In 1991 I was ordained in the Fellowship - for me, this was a commitment to a vocation of public Pagan ministry. My home and acre of land is dedicated as the Centre of Pandora within the FOI. The gardens are nowadays occasionally open to the public, raising funds for local charities such as the Skanda Vale Hospice.
Later in the 1990's I served as a Trustee / Chair of the Pagan Hospice and Funeral Trust / Voyager Trust.
My personal dedication to Goddess is to Terpsichore (classically the Muse of Dance) . This is a major part of my spiritual path. I teach European Folk Dance and 'Circle Dance' to the wider public. In addition to dance, I'd like to see a lot more music and singing in Pagan practice. (I simply find these much more transformative of consciousness that much of what we seem to do together.)
For a number of years now I was 'below the radar', but that's no longer the case. (I have additional listings on this site for 'Pandora' and for my work as 'Pagan Clergy') I would be pleased to meet / correspond with / celebrate with any who reverence Goddess.
