Greetings to all who read this,
I have been following earth based spirituality since 2000. Being a Pagan in a Christian family has defiantly had it's ups and downs although my parents and brother are understanding and very loving the church they attended was far from and I have been told that I was "the back door for the devil to get into my family." Thankfully my family stopped going there. On June 13th 2008 I married my wonderful husband, Tan. We wrote our own ceremony and found a new challenge in doing so. Although we had the ease of sharing the same beliefs his family, who are devout Catholics we in attendance. In the end we were able to write a lovely ceremony that honored our beliefs with out being in your face insulting to the non-pagan people who came to share the day with us. Tan and I now practice and study our path together and though we don't hide it from our families we try to keep it out of their line of fire.
Well now that you know a a little about my experiences with paganism let me rewind and let you know a bit about my life. I was born in Auckland, New Zealand but moved to the U.S. when I was only a few weeks old. Since then I have traveled a lot. I have lived in Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, and Alaska. I have also spent short amounts of time in Washington, Montana, and California. I have also taken trips out of the U.S. Those trips have been to New Zealand, Italy, Canada, and two very very very long 14 hour lay overs in Seoul S.Korea air port. At this point you must be wondering "is her family Military?" The answer is no, my family just likes traveling a lot. I have spent the majority of my life in Alaska and have been from Skagway to North Pole and every where in-between.
I love to do everything outside. I hunt, fish, camp, hike, and have some nifty survival skills. I have spent five days hiking in Denali National Park and have hiked the Chilkoot Trail. Both trips were awesome. I know reside in Anchorage Alaska with my husband and attend UAA as an Art Major.
Tan and I are both trying to learn as much as we can about the many pagan paths so feel free to contact me with question or tid-bits of information.
