Lark's Profile...
I am a retired Army nurse and Vietnam vet. I served as an Army Nurse from 1966-1986 including 18 months in a combat hospital in Vietnam. Although I retired in 1986 I was called back to active duty for the first Gulf War, retiring a second time in 1992.
I have been a practicing Witchcraft since 1980. I began as a solitary practitioner working the cycle of the seasons on our farm in Tennessee. In 1990 I began training with the Oak, Ash, and Thorn Tradition of traditional initiatory Witchcraft, and received my Third Degree from OATh at Samhain 1996. I founded my own coven of Tangled Moon at Yule 1996 and led that group as High Priestess until Litha 2008 when I retired from active coven leadership.
Since 2001 I have been an Elder in the OATh Tradition as well as High Priestess of the Tradition.
In addition I received my Gardnerian 1st degree initiation in July 2009 and was elevated to 2nd Degree in September 2010.
I am currently enrolled in the Master of Divinity program at Cherry Hill Seminary with am emphasis on Pagan Pastoral Counseling. I hope to complete my degree within the next year.
I have become active in inter-faith work in my community trying to create bridges of understanding between local Pagans and mainstream religions. As part of my endeavor I work as a volunteer chaplain in a local hospital.
In my not-so-copious free time I do quilting, Medieval re-enactment, Celtic embroidery, hand spinning, weaving, gourmet cooking, reading, dressage, scuba diving, archery, and run several on-line message boards.
I am sorry but:
1. I do not teach on-line. If you are in the Huntsville, AL area and looking for a teacher we can talk, but I'm not really in the market for students.
2. I do not have a coven of my own at this time.
3. I do not do spells or hand out spells to those that I don't know on a personal basis.
