I have a lot to learn; my path had been "seeking" for over 8 years. I used to call myself "christian wicca" but I lean more towards wicca than that... and the more I learn, the more I find that the gods by any other name are just as potent.
I discovered Shinto while in a History and Culture of Japan class, and it piqued my interest because the more I delved into it myself, the more it resonated with the beliefs I already held.
I'm not "in the broom closet" per se, because my friends, co-workers, and my father know, but my mother (born-again Christian...) and all my cousins, aunts, and grandparents (staunch Catholics, don't 'ya know) will be a lot less accepting of my beliefs.
But I have a happy home with my wife, son, and two dogs, and I've got a close circle of very good friends; and that's all that really matters.
I'm open to conversation, and love to meet new people.
