Merry Meet-
I am copy/pasting my profile info from PaganSpace.com. I receive a lot of emails about my faith/etc. and I respond to every one, but rarely hear back after that. I think it's because a lot of peple come wanting spells and I make it very clear that the Craft is my faith, not a fad........."I am a Solitary Eclectic Witch and have been for 16 years. I am a stay-at-home mother and wife. I have an open mind in aspect that it harm none. I do not judge or pretend to know everything. Financial standing makes no difference to me as I fall into the poverty level, income wise, but I do not live on charity or public assistance. I may not have a lot of material possesions but what I do have is mine. I add this only because I have ran into many that feel I am incapable because I don't live like a queen. lol. To those I respond, "I live simply so that others may simply live." I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet/teach/learn from all traditions and thoughts. My main goal upon joining PaganSpace is to, hopefully, find like-minded individuals/families in my area to start having open circle. I have been tugged and pulled to reach out to the pagan community, but have come across many obstacles. I am a survivor of religious discrimination and just ended a 4 year battle in court due to those issues. I am where I want to settle down and I want to forge roots in my community in a friendly, but open way. I feel that my only way to do so is to be the outspoken one and have others come to me. The reason being there is a persistant fear and I am sick of it. Goddess is Love and Light, but She is also Warrior and Dark. At this time I feel that song. Not in negativity but in perserverance and the determination to show them that we are not the stereotypes...We are Love. We are Light. We are Warriors. We are the Mother incarnate and they learn from us all about Her and I intend they see her beauty as well as Her strength. Blessed Be!!!" I hope this helps if for nothing else to show other Pagans that they are not alone. It is time that someone stood up for our rights and I've been waiting, though lately, Lord & Lady have made it blatently apparent that it's my calling so quit stalling....lol.....
