Dislikes: I don't care for scare tactics from people who should know better, or anyone in love with their own ignorance. I don't believe that fanaticism can ever heal the rifts in humanity, only tolerance and compassion.
Mary Cox's Profile...
I am a newly crone-aged Pagan woman from Tucson, Arizona. I was raised Catholic by a mother who wasn't afraid to say what she believed was right, even if it differed slightly from the Church. I came to embrace Paganism in my mid-twenties, when my enthusiasm for all that life offered veered from the Judeo-Christian path. I spent years and years filling my heart with love for the sacred feminine, with a feeling that Mother Earth is a living being, and that what we do affects her. Through my grandmother I was introduced to Kwan Yin, the Chinese Goddess of Compassion, and she quickly became my favorite, and most beloved goddess. I work with animals for a living, and throughout the years have had many amazing, magical and even healing experiences with them. I never had children but I am married to the most wonderful man who can bring the Goddess out in me like no other.
I used to use the "magickal name" Rayma Samaras, which was in part an anagram of my real name, and a seed which was a symbol from my maiden name, but I have decided to use my real name instead. I am proud of being my goddess-loving, unlabeled self. I like being connected to my Light, and my Dark, side...my whole self, and nothing less, so help me Universe!!
