Enola's Profile...

Hello, I'm Enola.

I'm a very different person than the person I was when I first came to this website. I think I was about 19, young and naive and shocked by anyone who did not believe in god or what have you. I first got into magick when I had to do a term paper on it in college. But i have always been drawn to magick, faeries, and nature, so I feel it was only a matter of time before I delved into the arts.

I stopped practicing magic for a couple years. I mostly felt lost and alone and the Fae were no longer a comfort to me. But I am finding myself drawn once again to the mischievous charm of the Fae. They always helped and guided me when I felt alone. And they were so real. It was hard to believe that they didn't exist.

I remember i left an offering of milk and bread under a tree in my backyard to the Fae. I think I was asking them to bless and protect my new home -- I don't remember. But when I returned the next morning, the offering was gone, and in its place was a black wing made of stone. I was amazed. It was the first physical proof I had ever encountered where Fae are concerned.

And, no. No one could have known about my offering and played a prank on me. I was very much alone when I made the offering. I believe it was the middle of the night. No one knew I had left the offering there, and I can't imagine any of my neighbors going through the trouble of breaking into my yard to leave me -- of all things -- a black stone wing.

The Fae were very good to me. I miss them. I really do. And while I am now every much an atheist, I believe in them still. I believe there are things in this world we are yet to understand, and the Fae are one of those things.

Why have I returned to this website? i do not know. I felt compelled to return for whatever reason. Perhaps to make witchy friends. Or just to peruse.

I attempted to remove my old articles. Please ignore them, as they are stupid.
